Road Closures

It feels as though these signs are an increasingly  common sight over Valley Beat and indeed over the whole of the North West Leicestershire. And while the diversions are frustrating, these road closures are necessary to carry out essential maintenance.

Unfortunately, we are seeing numerous reports of antisocial behaviour and aggression towards the workers and people driving through the closures putting lives at risk.  

When planning your journey

Look for any planned road closures

Follow the diversion signs

Allow yourself plenty of time for the redirection

Look after each other and stay safe
